Brad is a licensed clinical professional counselor working with children, adolescents, and their families. He currently is the Middle School Counselor at St. Paul’s School in Baltimore County. Previously, he worked for fifteen years as a teacher, advisor, counselor and administrator at Glenelg Country School in Howard County. He has clinical training in diverse settings including schools, outpatient mental health centers, intensive outpatient mental health centers and substance abuse facilities.
Brad brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Crossroads Psychological Associates, including his passion to work with children, adolescents and families. He is also trained to teach leadership skills to adolescents, and he uses these skills in his client approach. Brad utilizes many therapeutic techniques to engage his clients, including supportive psychotherapy and cognitive behavioral therapy.
Brad strongly believes in concentrating on the client’s individual strengths to cultivate their own resilience. Using short and long term goals, Brad supports clients to move in a positive direction and help boost their confidence and motivation. Finally, he emphasizes collaboration with family members to support the needs of the client and the family.
